Marc van Sambeek is a part-time professor of Application of Engineering in Vascular Surgery and Endovascular Therapy at the Cardiovascular Biomechanics research group of the department of Biomedical Engineering. His main affiliation is with the Catharina Hospital Eindhoven where he works as a vascular surgeon. He has an interest in minimally invasive vascular surgery (endovascular treatments) and as a surgeon specializes in aortic aneurysm, carotid artery stenosis and thoracic outlet syndrome.
