The major fire in Amsterdam last Friday also saw the Idea Books distribution centre go up in flames. The blaze on the Nieuwe Hemweg spread from Felyx, a company that rents out electric shared scooters. The damage is immense. “The flames rose as high as twenty metres, all the way to the roof.”
