As a resident of Southeast Amsterdam and a runner, Lucelle van de Berkt regularly runs under the Groenendaal viaduct (A27). “I felt this used to be an unpleasant spot that needed to be done about.†She previously approached city painter Eric van der Vegt to paint the electricity substations in the neighborhood. For several months now, the neighborhood has also been able to enjoy a beautiful nature mural on both sides of the viaduct by Hilversum’s most famous city painter.
