Police are asking for the public’s help to identify a man found dead in the water along the Westelijke Merwedekanaaldijk in Amsterdam’s Oost district on Aug. 3. Investigators believe the man had been in the water for several days to about a week. Detectives do not believe his death resulted from a crime.
